OK so my little guy turned the big 4 on May 31st. Time has sure flown by. He is not as picky about how his birthday should be as much as his sister is. That makes it a bit easier on me:) So the morning of his birthday we called some friends and went to the park for a couple of hours. That is all he wanted to do was play with his friends. I had my camera with me but forgot to take pictures of the kids.Everyone there was Weston, Oakley, and RayLee Bosh, Tray, Tyler, and Paige Hathaway, Briggs, Brooke, Logan, and Maddi Webster, Reagan, Brityn, and Cameron Lynn, Madison and Andrew. If you cant tell in the picture below Andrew is wearing his snow boots. It was still a little cold but not that cold. I tried to tell him no but when he reminds you that it is his Birthday and that is what he would like to wear, you cant say no:) After the park he had a T-ball game and then we went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Woodland. We didn't do much but he was completely satisfied. The following Sunday we had a family party after Payton's blessing dinner. We had some cake and he opened up his gifts. Andrew is one of a kind. He keeps every on their toes, and most days makes me crazy. He loves life and is most of the time very happy. I wouldn't trade this kid for the world. We love him so Much!! Happy birthday Buddy:)

Madison had her dance review back in May.. She loves every minute of it. She did fantastic and we were so proud of her. Her dance teacher is Lisa Blackett. She loves Lisa and thinks she is the greatest. This year was the first year Madison has been in the same dance review night as her cousins. Cameron was the only one on a different night. Madison has always been on a different night by her self. When she found out she was on the same night she wanted to send Lisa a thank you note:) It was fun watching all of them. It seems like yesterday it was me and my sisters performing on that stage dancing for the same teacher:)

Madison also had a Field Trip in May. We went to the Zoo:) As you can see from the pictures the weather was a bit crazy. It started out raining and ended with snow. It was still a very fun day. It will be one we will not forget. It is always so fun to spend the day with Madison. Madison also ended her 2 nd grade year. She had a fantastic teacher and great friends. She was so sad to move on. She loves school so I have no doubt that she will go to 3rd grade and love it just as much. She also got the reading award from her teacher. I only had my phone:) so I have no picture to show off. We are very proud of her:)

May is always busy but full of fun things. Andrew had his fiel trip to the Fire station. He was very interested and was very excited to be there:) I am just realizing that i didn't have a great picture of his graduation. I am pretty sure my camera ran out of battery. I did get video of the little program so thats good. He graduated and was so excited about it. He loved Mrs. LOVE. She was great with him, and he learned so much.

Couples Bunco

We have a couples Bunco group that gets together every other month. We seriously have so much fun. I like having our husbands there with us. This month was at our house and we decided to change things up a little and play a different game. We played minute to win it. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. It was very entertaining to say the least. We have a fun group and we are glad we are a part of it. We have such great friends. So I posted some of my favorite pictures of the night.

Baptism day

The pictures are in no particular order. I can't seem to do that very good. April 2, 2011 was the happiest day of Madison's life. She was so excited to be baptized. We had a really great day. We are so thankful for Our family and friends who gave her so much support on this day. We started our day with a little Zumba! Madison has always wanted to go with me to class but I didn't think she could make it through the hour doing it. So We asked Marci if she would do a special baptism zumba for Madison's aunts and girl cousins. It was really fun and Madison did really good. Then we listened to the first session of conference. After the first session we had lunch at our church. We ate J dawgs. It was yummy. Thanks to everyone who brought salads, chips, and desserts. We first ate J dawgs when we were at BYU. They catered a consruction management party one summer. It soon became a favorite of Brett Madi and I. Their hot dog shop sits in a parking lot at BYU and is in a 2 man little shack. Any way my sister's husband works at BYU and eats there allot, so when they served them for My nephews baptism I couldn't resist and do the same. It brought back some fun memories. After lunch we enjoyed the 2nd session of conference. Then we were off to the baptism. Madison was so cute and so excited:) The program went as follows. Grandpa Mangelson said the opening prayer. opening song: When I am Baptized. Talk on Baptism: Grandma Nelson. Then she was baptized. Brett said the water was cold. Madi said it was warm:) Talk on the Holy Ghost: Casey Jones. Then she was confirmed by her dad. It was a great blessing. I am so grateful he holds the priesthood and can do this for our children. All who stood in the Circle. Bishop Lunt, Will Lathem, Mark Jones, Byron Woodland, Casey Jones, Ron Jones, Golden Mangelson, Lamar Howarth, Jeremy Lynn, Lance Greer, Alan Gee, Jeff Andrus, Dan Woodland, and Jon Webster. Every man there held the priesthood and is worthy of it. I don't know if Madi relizes how special that is. The Bishop gave some remarks, and all of the kids sang I have faith for the closing song. Closing prayer: Shannon Greer. We had a really special day. I have no doubt that Madison knows exactly what she did that day. She was prepared because of her awesome family, primary teachers, and friends. Mrs. Webster gave her a journal to write down her feelings of that day. Also we had everyone write their testimony for her to put in a scrapbook. I know she will remember this day. Madison is such a good Girl. We are so proud of her. I am so grateful for her sweet example to all of us. I am looking forward to all of the great things in her life. I just wish time would slow down a little bit:)

I can't believe how fast march went. It took so long for it to get here:) Madison turned 8 on March 14th. This seems so crazy to me. She has been waiting for this day for seriously 4 years. She would ask me all of the time how many days until she got baptized. I would then have to explain that it would be years:) It got easier when it turned into months and then days. She started her birthday out with Breakfast in bed. This has also been a request of hers since she was 4. I don't know where she came up with that. Any way her next request for the day was to have lunch with her mom. I felt special to be chosen to have lunch with her. Then later that night we had a party with family. Her request for her present this year was a room redo. It worked out perfectly. Her aunts uncles, and grandparents all helped to get a new bedspread, a cool chair, and paint. The rest is up to me and her dad. We need to take down wallpaper and cottage cheese ceilings:) She also gets new carpet. This was a great idea and I am probably more excited than she is. We haven't started this project yet but hopefully soon. The following Saturday we had a friend party. it was really fun. They all made a pair of flip flops, had a talent show and just played around. They took home their flip flops a balloon and a cupcake. It was a great day for Madison.

We have had a great February so far:) Valentines was great. We have way to much Candy. My kids don't really eat candy, but their mom does:) Madison won in the creative arts contest. She won 2ND place in visual arts, and 3rd place in photography. We are so proud of her. We went to sunny St. George for Kathryn's baby blessing. Last but not least ANDREW WENT TO SUNBEAMS!!!!!!!! I am also so proud of him. This is something he has really struggled with. So have I:(. He finally decided that he was going to be OK and he went with out a tear. He had so many cheering him on and he was so excited to tell everyone that he did it. He went to sunbeams.

Well January was just plain cold. The older I get the more I hate it. Everything else about January was great. My Nephew Jake was Baptized on 1/1/11. I don't think he will forget that date:)The kids played in the snow. That only lasts about two seconds. They love it anyway. We went to the biggest BYU game of the season. It was so much fun. Brett's parents got a new dog. Last but not least we kept praying Andrew would go to sunbeams( which by the way never happened in January). We had a great month to start off our year.

So Christmas is what happened in December:) We had a great Christmas this year. Andrew got a Buzz and woody doll. Madison got her American Doll"AKA" The Target knock off:) She doesn't know the difference,and an easy bake oven. Oh yea don't forget about the Pillow pets:) They got alot more things from Santa and also Aunts, Uncles, and of coarse Grandma's and Grandpa's We love Christmas and we are so very grateful for all of the things we received from our family and friends. The gifts are fun and everything, but we just love to be with our family.

He watched that move when his was really little and it gave him nightmares I swear until he was in high school:) I couldn't resist buying it for him. This movie affected him so much he thinks it is creepy that I live so close the railroad tracks:)May be that's why he doesn't visit me that often:)

We had a very fun and eventful Halloween. We started off by going and watching Madison dance at the Cee's craft show. She looked super cute and as always loves to dance. Then We had our 2nd annual Halloween party at my house. We have taco soup and homemade doughnut's. The kids each decorated a pumpkin from Grandma Patty's garden. Then we get dressed up and take lots of Pictures:) We handed out treats and everyone headed to their own trunk or treats and to visit Other Grandma's and Grandpa's. We were able to go see Grandpa Jones and Grandma and Grandpa Woodland. We were lucky enough to be at Grandma Woodland's at the same time as Dan and Lisa's Kids. Andrew started out the day being dressed up as a Monkey and ended the day as a Giraffe. While dressed as a monkey he kept walking around saying Monkey see Monkey do. We had a great Halloween!!

The city had Trick or treating at all the businesses to go along with Halloween town. I helped my mom get my dad dressed up for work. The kids thought it was so funny. Madison said mom you didn't need to buy grandpa a wig. You could have just sprayed his real hair and it would have looked the same:) His hair is curly but not as out of control as the wig:)

Brett turned 31 back in September. I can't believe that we are getting that old!! He loves Pumpkin Pie. So because of tradition I made him Pumpkin pie for his cake. Brett's parents came by and we opened presents and ate pie. Brett has wanted new Klimb snowmobile pants forever so between Brett's parents and I we were able to get him some. Notice the rapping paper in the second picture. Brett's mom rapped half in birthday paper and the other half in Christmas paper. We had to split it up into Birthday and Christmas because they are so cheap:)So Happy Birthday / Christmas Brett. We Love You and are so glad you can stay warm and dry while doing what love.

Back in September Brett and I went to the Brad paisley H20 tour. Brett bought me the tickets for my birthday. Because it was Brett's birthday a couple of days before the Concert and our anniversary is coming up we decided to spend a couple of days in Salt Lake. In the 10 years we have been married we haven't done that before. Lame I know:) But It was so Much fun. I think we will try to get away once a year from now on:) Now that I know my kids can survive with out me:):) By the way Congratulations Brad for being the entertainer of the Year!!

Both Kids started school over a month ago. Never to late to post right!!! Madison Started 2nd Grade with Mrs. Webster. aka the best teacher in the whole world. I know that Madison is not the only one that feels that way:) She really is a great teacher. We are so lucky to have her. Like I have said before Madi loves school and was so excited to go back. This is what she told me on the last day of first grade. "Mom today when I left school I will be preparing to become a 2nd grader. I wish I could go back tomorrow." I love that she loves school and that she comes home every day screaming that was AWESOME!! Andrew started Wilde 4 Learning Pre-school the first of September. His teacher is Trudy Love. He LOVES her. I was worried he wouldn't want to go. He has no problems leaving me for Mrs. Love. I am so glad my kids love going to school. Hopefully it will always be that way. The best part for my kids is that they get to see their teacher in church on Sunday's. I bet it's their teachers favorite part:)

Our July

Wow I can't believe that July is over. That really makes me sad. I am not ready for school to start:( Madison is on the other hand. She loves school and everything about it. We went school shopping the other day and she can hardly wait for it to start. I love the month of July. The 4Th, Ute stampede, 24Th, Swimming lessons, everything. My last post was on the 4Th so I will just move along with swimming lessons. Swimming lessons are a must at our house. Brett is terrified of water only because he doesn't know how to swim. So we are learning to swim:) Last year I had to pretty much force Andrew in the water everyday. He really hated it. This year he loved it and so much that on the first day his teacher told him time was up and he was pretty disappointed. He wouldn't even tell her goodbye. He recovered quickly when I told him we could come back. Madi has always loved to swim. She loved her class and her teachers. Brett kept teasing her that she had a crush on them. She did really good she just needs to perfect some things and she can move on.

On the 24 Th we go up to Spanish Fork for the day. We start the day off with the parade. Then we go to grandma nelsons and just hang out until we eat at 5:00. We had a great food and it is always fun to hang out with Brett's cousins and aunts and uncles, and of course his parents, brother and his family, and his sister and her family. We ended the night with the fireworks in Mona. It was a fun day.

The Ute Stampede. I love those three days. I am so glad that my kids get to join in on the fun of the Stampede. On Thursday morning My brother came and got my kids and took them to the credit union to watch the stock come down main street. I went to but I just went in a different car so the kids felt cool. When we were kids we always rode through the mammoth parade on the Bank Float. So this year the Credit union had a float and all of my Dads grand kids and all of the employee's grand kids and kids rode through. I was excited for them because I always thought it was so much fun. It was so HOT for them but they looked so cute sitting up there. We also had some friends from Brett's mission come and stay and go to the rodeo with us. It was fun having them with us and sharing our traditions with us. It is also exciting living close to the fair grounds. We get to see allot of people from our front porch.

Our 4th of July

We had a super fun 4th of July weekend. All of Brett's family were in town so we could have a big birthday party. We went swimming, opened presents, ate lots of good food, went to the park, and celebrated Koltens real birthday. The best part for the kids was spending time with their cousins. I actually love the 4th of July. It has always been one of my favorite holidays. We had a great time with our families. I forgot to mention that we watched the Fireworks with my Grandpa Jones, and my mom and dad. I didn't get any pictures of that because it was so cold no one was going to unwrap from their blankets to take a picture.

Wow what can I say about this little boy!!!! When I was pregnant with him we chose not to find out what we were having. My sister Alisha had a baby girl 4 weeks before. When I heard that she had just brought a little girl into this world I automatically thought great now I am going to have a BOY!! I really wanted another little girl. I kept telling my self that It was OK I was going to have a little girl. I know how rude of me. I had to have him C- section so Brett and my Brother in law Lamar gave me a blessing before we went to the hospital. While Brett was giving the blessing he said something like bless that HE will be a healthy baby. When we got in the car I asked him what that was all about? (I am still positive that we were having a girl) He said I don't know it just came out with out thinking it at all. Well we get to the hospital and get started with everything. The time comes when they pull him out and i was so excited. Then I hear well HIS water works. The first time I see Brett through the whole thing, and he leans over the drape and said " Did you hear that I have a little BOY. That was it for me I was so excited we had a little boy. My mom was watching through the window and couldn't hear what they said but she thought that baby better be a boy because look at the size of those Hands and feet:) I fell in love with that cute little guy and he still keeps surprising me. Andrew is like having 3 kids in one some days. He has always been so active and on the go. There is something about little girls though. He can't resist bugging them. I think that we are going to have to pay for therapy for Alisha's little girl Brityn:) He loves his horse Sandy. He loves to play cowboy and thinks Uncle Dan's farm is the best place to be. He like to play catch with Brett but most of all he likes to be with Brett and do what ever he is doing. I Love this kid so much. My mom said yesterday that it seems like he has been with us longer than 3 years. I can't imagine life with out him. I hope that he had a fun Birthday. Andrew we love you!!!

Andrews birthday fell on Memorial day this year so we had his Birthday party on Sunday with our families. I only took pictures of Andrew and forgot to take any of the party guests. He has been obsessed with the song Big Green Tractor. My mom found the cake pan in St. George one weekend and couldn't help her self. He loved it! We were going to have a farm Birthday anyway so it fit perfect. As you can see in the pictures he also got a tractor of his own. He is also in love with that. He was not so good at driving it at first, but he really good now. He was so fun this year for his b-day because he knew what was going on and that all the attention was for him. We love this little guy so much. We are so glad he is a part of our family. Also my aunt Julie took him for a tour of the farm while we were out in Levan. He loved every bit of it. He told Julie he was so glad that she took him to see all of the animals. she even let him name one of the ponies Snow Cone:)

Memorial day was a great day for us. We started out in levan for lunch. I could kick my self for not getting a picture with My Grandma and Grandpa Mangelson. We had a fun time, and of course I had way too much to eat. Then we headed to Nephi. Madison and I went up to the Cemetery while Brett and Andrew went on a horse ride. Then they joined us later. We sat and listened to my Grandpa tell stories. He just got home two days ago from being in the hospital for over 3 months and in a care center for a week. He looked so good and it was good to have him there. It was a fun day with family.

A Night at the Movies!!

I of course Put these pictures in the wrong order:) Every time I think that I am going to do it right. Yea right!! Any way the first couple of pictures are of the sleep over at Grandma Woodlands.
Andrew and Kolten. These two had so much fun together no fighting, no tears, just fun. They are so much alike in almost everything. They are the cutest little cowboys:)

I was Invited by a friend to to to the movie with our kids on Friday night. Kathryn's Kids were here and Suzanne's kids were here,and Brett's mom invited Dan and Lisa's little girl to have a sleep over with the other girls (including Madison). So I thought it would be fun to take all the girls to the Movie. I had invited Reagan, but her family was already going so we meat her there. All the boys(all 4 of them) stayed home with Grandma, Suzy,and Alan.
The girls were so cute. I am pretty sure they had a great time. They each had their own popcorn drink and a snack. It was a fun night for us. Thanks Shari for inviting us to go!

Last weekend was Madison's dance review. She had so much fun! She wishes she could do that everyday. She even got a "Big Girl Costume" She kept looking at her self and then she said Mom I feel like a teenager!!!! WOW! She is a funny girl. I also have 4 other Nieces that performed in the reviews. Madison and Kaci Preformed Thursday, one at 5:00 and the other at 7:30. Emily, Reagan, and Brityn performed on Friday. Lisa Blackett and her daughter Marci Rach are the teachers. Lisa also taught me when I was little. Madi loves dancing. She did such a great job!! ( Her smile was also perfect. She kept asking me if her smile was a good one for the dance review:)She also got flowers from her Dad. He started this a couple of years ago, and of course she started to remind him about what kinds of flowers were her favorite. She got exactly what she wanted.

We can't forget about Andrew. He is such a good kid.(most of the time) He keeps me busy. This is what happens if I take my eyes off of him for more than 2 seconds. I had a good laugh and then took a picture. I love this kid so much I can't believe he is almost 3!!

I hope everyone had a great Mothers Day. I sure did. I am so grateful for all of My mothers in my life. I have My Mom, Grandma's, My Mother-in-law, Aunts, Sisters,& Sister-in-laws. They are all such great examples to me and my kids. I LOVE being a Mom. I am not the best Mom in the world but I sure do try. I LOVE my kids so much. I am so grateful I get to be there MOM! I LOVE YOU!

Before I was a Mom, I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about Immunizations.
Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on, pooped on, chewed on, peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests. Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours of the night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom, I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
Before I was a Mom, I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a mom, I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know something so small could make me feel so important and Happy.
Before I was a Mom, I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every ten minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the Joy, the Love, the Heartache, the Wonderment or the Satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, Before I was a MOM.

We had a very fun and eventful Easter. I am going to start with Sunday since I uploaded the pictures in the wrong order. So Sunday afternoon we went to Spanish Fork for Brett Grandma's Party. We have never been to this Party before and it was fun to get in on the tradition of this party. Every year even when we haven't been able to go Brett's grandparents have not forgotten us. They give Every girl in the family a softball, and every boy a baseball. As you can imagine we have a few softballs and baseballs. Every year we look forward to this awesome tradition. We were so happy we able to spend our night there With Brett's Family.
Earlier that day we had the Jones Family Easter Party. We usually go out west of Nephi and roast Hot Dogs. The snow didn't make that sound like to much fun so Alisha and Jeremy kindly offered there garage to our family so we could stay warm and not Muddy. Alisha and Jeremy have a fire pit in there back yard so we roasted our Hot dogs there. This party wasn't quite the same without Grandpa Jones there with us. He is still in the Hospital. We still had a great time catching up with everyone. I am so glad we were able to be there. We also went back to Grandma Patty's for our Easter egg hunt. That is fun as always.
Last but not least. We went out to Levan Canyon With the Mangelson side of the Family. It has also been a long time since I have been to this party. It was such a nice day and my kids had a ball playing outside. Someone dug a hole and that is where Andrew spent most of his day with his friend Kohlyer. They threw Easter eggs down the hill. Madison even learned how to ride a 4 wheeler.
We are usually out camping in the west Desert with Brett's family over Easter weekend. Because of that we don't always get to attend all of our family party's. Since spring break wasn't until a week later we were able to go to everything. I love being with family. I was so grateful we were able to spend our Easter with our families. I am also grateful we were able to listen to conference. What a great Easter weekend.

Madison won 3rd place in the creative Arts Contest a couple of weeks ago. She was so excited. She wrote some Piano music. This was really fun for her and also helped out a lot with her Piano. She also wrote words to the music. This is how it went. I like to give. I like to give. I like to give thanks. I like to give hugs. No matter how big or small I like to give. I was really proud of her. She did this all on her own with only a teeny bit of help from me. She sat at the piano and played notes while I wrote the notes that she wanted down for her. Congratulations Madi. We are very proud of you.

I can't even believe That she is 7. Brett tells me to believe it because it is true:) Madison is such a good girl. She love to dance and sing. Her new favorite thing is playing the Piano. She loves to be with friends and family. She is so syimpathic and super loving. Brett would call her super emotional:) She can be at times!! She loves her little brother most of the time. She wants a sister because a sister would understand her:) I guess Andrew just doesn't get her:) She has such a sweet testimony that she shares with us all of the time. Her Birthday was on a Sunday and she said, Mom I get to do something today that most kids don't get to do. I asked her what that was and she said I get to learn about Jesus on my Birthday. Madison had a party with her Friends in her class and Primary class. It was kind of nuts in our basement for a couple of hours. They had so much fun. First of all Madison had planned her own Surprise party. She told me every detail I should follow. First we invite the friends. Second Her dad should take her some where for a while so all of her friends could make it. Third they should hide and yell surprise when she walks in. I told her that it is not a surprise if you plan it yourself:) She cracks me up! So we made invitations and took them to her friends. Next I sent her with Brett to pick up the pizza. In the mean time all of her friends arrived. We turned down the lights and they all hid. Next she came home and asked if her friends were there yet. I said no but Andrew is down stairs getting into the party things, you might want to go tell him to come up stairs with dad! Next comes the best part. She runs in and they all jump out yelling surprise. It totally surprised her. It just about scared her to death. It actually brought her to tears because she was so surprised. I loved it. It was exactly what she wanted. She said it was the best!! I just followed instructions and it worked:) We ate Pizza painted finger nails and watched The Hannah Montana Movie.

We Have had a lot of things going on in the Past month. I thought I would take a break from our vacation. Brett's Grandma takes everyone in her family that can make it out for Pizza. This has been a February tradition for as long as Brett can remember. She takes everyone out for her Birthday. What an awesome Grandma:) This year there was a balloon man. He made Grandma her special hat and then was kept busy for the rest of the hour. Next we move on to Zeaks Birthday party. They invited us down to the indoor arena to celebrate. We ate taco salad and watched Zeak ride. He had quite the crowd there to wish him a Happy Birthday. Grandma Nelson Celebrated her 80th Birthday this year so her kids threw her a birthday party. They invited close friends and Family to attend. All of her kids gave her a cruise to Alaska. I think the best part for her is that they were all joining her. I think that she had a great night. She is a special Grandma and we all love her so much and grateful to have celebrated this day with her.

I really LOVE going to Disneyland. Seeing these pictures makes me want to go back. The first picture is our little family waiting for everyone else to get off the Farris wheel. I have become a chicken when it comes to heights. This ride freaked me out just looking at it. The wheel turns and the cart your in rolls around on a track:( If you have been in California adventure you know what I am talking about. My family was nice to wait with me.

My Parents took us to Disneyland Back in January. It was so much fun. The kids loved it. They loved being there with their cousins and Grandma and Grandpa. The weather was around the 80's the whole time we were there it was so great. We made lots of memories. Andrew still reminds us that he didn't like the Matterhorn. We had a awesome Christmas. We got very spoiled. My kids are at a fun age right now. It is fun to watch them get so excited. I love Christmas time!! We were so lucky to be able to have both my parents, Brett's parents, Grandpa Jones, and my little Brother Casey over for Christmas Morning. Madison got a Ipod and a couple other things, and Andrew got a Horse with a couple other things. They were both so excited about everything they got. It was a fun morning. Brett and I agree that Christmas day and Christmas eve are the busiest day's of the whole year for us. We go back and forth a lot. We both agree that it is such a blessing that we get to live so close to our families. In the 9 years we have been married we have been able to go to every party. except this year we had to miss the Jones Christmas party:( On Christmas eve we go up to the cemetery and light some candles and put them on Erica, MonaLee and Grandma Jones' graves. We put the candles in white lunch bags. It looks really pretty and they burn all night. Monalee's family, My whole family, And Grandpa Jones do this. Then we have family prayer. It is a nice way to start off Christmas. Then we head out to Levan For my Grandma Mangelsons party. I have been to this party since I can ever remember. It is fun to see all of our cousins, and Aunt & Uncles. Next we headed back to Nephi to watch a movie with Brett's parents and to open the pajama Fairy. We watched Night at the Museum. Then Home and off to bed. CHRISTMAS DAY. We opened our presents and had some breakfast. Then we went over to Brett's parents for a couple of hours. They completely spoiled us. Then over to my parents for lunch. And they also Spoiled us like crazy. We are so lucky. Then for the final event of the night Grandma Nelsons!!. We have also never missed her Christmas day party. She also spoiled us. It is always fun to see all of Brett's family there as well. So in other words we had a awesome day. The best part of the day was when Madison said to me, Mom I loved getting presents today, but I always remembered that the reason why we have Christmas is because of Jesus. Wow she does listen to us and to her primary teachers. We are all so thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ. He is a part of our lives and blesses us every day. We love this time of year and that we are able to reflect back on his life. We love Our families and we are so grateful for them. They do so much for us. We are so lucky to live so close to most of them. We hope you all had a Great Christmas. I am also sorry I am not a writer. In fact I stink when it comes to doing it. Madison finally got rid of her loose tooth. The tooth behind it was completely in before we finally got the other one out. The tooth was loose forever, and she would not let me touch it. She said it hurt and would scream or start to cry. Working for a dentist for 8 years and seeing kids react this way, I swore my children would never act like that. Yea right. So I told her if she didn't start wiggling it I would have to take her to the dentist to get it pulled. She likes to go to the dentist so that seemed easier to her. Well she bit into something and really made it loose. So being the great parent I am I held her down and pulled it out. I barley touched it and it was out. She cried and cried. I did feel a little bad so I said I was sorry and gave her a big Hug. After that she was so excited to show everyone her lost tooth. She also told me that it didn't hurt at all she was just nervous because it was her first tooth. We went home that night and she put it under her pillow and the Tooth fairy left her a dollar. She was super happy about that. Ever since she has been wiggling her teeth so she can get more money. We are so glad that this day finally came. This was her first tooth to come in and the first to come out.

I Have missed a couple of Birthday's I will Start with my Brother in-law Lamar. He celebrated his Birthday With all of us in Disneyland. What a great place to be on your Birthday. Cooking Class in Salem

I am way late on this post. My Mother-in-law took my sister-in-law Lisa and I to a cooking class the first part of November. I have been to I think four of these classes with Brett's Grandma,Mom and Aunts. This time it was just Lisa,Susan and I. They are seriously so fun. This lady teaches us how to make some simple meals and then feeds it to us. Then we get to take the recipes home and try it on our families. This class was on holiday cooking. This is what was on the menu. Carrot cake pancakes with cinnamon syrup(seriously so yummy), Fabulous chicken and rice, Holiday peas, Triple-chocolate peppermint treats, Cashew Carmel fudge, Tepee Treats(for Thanksgiving),and a Doughnut snowman. I was so excited when Susan asked me to go. Susan thank you so much for taking us to do such fun things. I can't wait until next time.

Yesterday morning I was getting Madison ready for school and she was telling me about the performance at the rest home that she is doing next week. She started to sing me the songs that Lisa had taught them. She was singing Rodolph the Red Nose Reindeer and got to the part where you start to name all the reindeer. Keep in mind that she is really singing her heart out. If you know Madison it is no surprise. So she starts and says now there's Dixon and sleepy and... I couldn't help but laugh. She asked what was so funny and I said I think Sleepy is a seven dorf,and I think the reindeer's name is vixen. She looked at me and said oh well and started to sing again. I actually love to listen to her sing songs. She has her own version of most songs. My favorite one is when she sings Human by the killers. We get a performance from her daily and we love it because it makes her happy. She is a funny girl and we love her.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving a couple weeks ago. As I sit here watching the snow fall I wish we could go back. We went to St. George this year and It was so nice. Brett has two sisters that live down there and were so nice to have the rest of us come and stay with them. We ate Thanksgiving dinner at Shannon's house and it was beautiful weather. We were able to set the tables up out side and if you were sitting in the sun you were hot. It was the best. I use to love the snow and cold when I was younger but I am really starting to hate it. Then later that night like 11:00 pm we went shopping. We just went to the outlet mall and it was crazy. We stood in line at children's place for over an hour just to check out. I only spent $15 so I am not sure if it was worth it. I have never been shopping on Thanksgiving or the day after before. It was a new thing for me. I don't know if I would do it again. I would have to say I had fun with my sister-in-laws and mother-in-law. Being with them was the Best part. Brett's dad took the horses down to St George with him and took kids on rides Thursday morning. Then on Friday the guys and Kathryn Went on A ride in Zions. It was way worth taking the horses with us. We also had family pictures taken on Friday. With such a big group they turned out really good. Every one left on Saturday afternoon except us. We were able to stay and go out to dinner with our friends. Brett meet the Goods when he was on his mission. They took really good care of him. It has been almost three years since we had been with them, and it was so good to see them. Our kids had so much fun with them as well. They live in St. George and we are going to make sure we see each other more often:) Then on Sunday we had to come home to real life. We had a great weekend. Thanks Shannon and Kathryn for having us. So I have been a slacker in the area of wishing my family members Happy Birthday. I am going to get caught up today. Here we go.....
First we had Jeff's Birthday and it was back in October. Sorry Jeff I am a horrible sister in law. We Love Jeff and hope he had a wonderful Day!!!

Next is My Sister Monica Her birthday was November 2nd. She is my oldest sister. She is five years older than me. We have been told we look alike. We worked for the same dentist a while ago and most people thought we were just one person. We love Monica and hope she had a great day.

My Dad is next. His Birthday was on November 13th. We love our Dad and Grandpa. He is always thinking of his family, and does so much for us. We hope he had a great day. We love you.

My Grandma celebrated next. I am not sure how old she is but she is still going strong. We are so grateful for her. She has done so much for us over my life time. My Mom does her hair every Friday morning so me and the kids go over to visit. My kids love Fridays so they can see their Grandma Mangelson. She always has a quarter and a hug for them. Madi feels bad because ever since she started school she hasn't been able to see her on Fridays. I hope this is something my kids will never forget. We Love you Grandma.

Last but not least Kaci Fae had a Birthday last Wednesday. She is such a cute little girl. She got a brand new pony for her birthday and it is just her size. We love having Kaci as a part of our family. We hope she had a great day. We love you.

We had a fun Halloween this year!! We went to the school carnival on Friday night. The kids thought that was great. Then on Saturday we got together with family and had lunch decorated pumpkins and showed off our costumes. Madison dressed up as Pocahontas and Andrew was a Dragon tales Dragon. We went over to Brett's parents house and were able to see the rest of our cute cousins. Oh I cant forget about the trunk or treat. Andrew thought it was pretty cool. Nothing better than a lot of people handing out candy. He was in heaven. We hope everyone else had a good Halloween!!

Today is the day!! I can't believe it, my husband is 30!!!! This is scary for really only one reason. This day will be coming for me in about nine months. We remember our parents in their thirty's. Madison started soccer last week and loves it. She has never played before, and Brett and I know nothing about the sport. We actually know so much about it we didn't know she needed shin guards:) For the first game she had to borrow her cousin Jake's. Thank goodness his game was right before hers. She has had two games so far and has done great. It is great exercise for her. She played her cousin Jake on Wednesday. It was cute because she kept talking smack to him, and then his team ended up winning:) I still don't think she realizes that. What you don't know wont hurt anything. Both her and Jake also share the same lucky #6. Lisa and I thought that was cool. We love watching her try out new things.

My Niece Kaitlyn turned 4 years old today. Kaitlyn is a fun little girl. Madison loves to play with her. Today was the first day of school for Madison. She was so excited that she woke up at 6:00 this morning asking if it was time to get ready. If you know Madison she is not a early riser. However this morning she said, mom I got up early today I am now an early riser:) I think she looked adorable today and so did she. She wanted a full on photo shoot before we left. She love her new hair cut. It was a little hard letting her go to school today, but Andrew and I seemed to get along OK:) As for her she had a awesome day full of recess, school lunch, friends, and of course learning. She is such a fun little girl and we are so glad she is excited to be in First Grade. I forgot to mention that her Teacher is Mrs. Wing AKA Mrs. Jepson. She was also the teacher Brett and I had in First grade.

For Fathers day we gave our Husbands and my Dad George tickets. Brett was so excited and had so much fun. We had lawn tickets,and they were actually not bad. Brett and I got to the concert at 4:30 and they didn't open the gate until 6:00. We wanted to get the best seats possible. So we sat in a parking lot in 100 degree weather just to get good seats. They were not the best but I think we did OK. The concert featured Julianne Hough and Blake Shelton.George did an awesome job and definitely the best part of the whole night. He is classic. I hope that our dads in our lives had a great time. Brett I love you. Thank you for being a awesome husband and father. Dad I love you too. Hope you had a good time , and thanks for being such a great Dad and Grandpa.

Our 4th of July & Ute Stampede

We had a awesome 4th. It just seems like it was forever ago. We spent the morning down at the City park and did all of the fun things there. The park on the 4th is something I really look forward to. Then later that day Madison and I headed off to the Stadium of Fire. My two nieces were dancing. Even though we couldn't see them I know they did a great job, and they looked so cute. Another Bonus to the Stadium of Fire was the JONAS BROTHERS!!!!! Madison sang and danced the whole time. The guy behind us said that the best part of the whole show was watching Her. She was pretty fun to be there with. I also really liked Shedaisy. They didn't sing very many songs, but they were still awesome.
Next comes the Ute Stampede. This weekend is a big deal for our family. We have gone to the Stampede for as long as I can remember. We had missed one night of the rodeo and my Brother asked me how I was ever going to sleep knowing I wasn't at the Rodeo. As you can tell this weekend is a big deal for him. We love the Stampede and we also think it is fun to live so close to all of the action. We have had a awesome summer so far. We are loving every minute of it and just wish it wouldn't go so fast. For some reason I can't find the pictures I took at the Stadium of Fire:(

Kolten turned 2 on July 3rd. He is such a cute little guy. I love his smile. Andrew loves to sing Happy Birthday to him. Kolten has spent some time at our house and it is so fun to watch him and Andrew play. I wish we lived closer to him. Happy Birthday Kolten we love you.
Hailey turned 8 on July 11th. She was also able to be baptized on Her Birthday. It was such a good day, and we are glad we were able to spend the day with her. I had her name for her birthday so I pierced her ears. After I got done with the first ear I was shaking so bad. It is hard to do that on your own Niece. She did awesome, and she had a whole house full of people to watch her get it done. Haily is such a sweet girl. We love you and hope you had a great Birthday.

Wow my little boy is now 2. Time has gone by so fast. Andrew Brett (that is what he calls himself) Had a Birthday yesterday. We woke him up by singing to him and he was so excited. Then a few min. later Brett asked him what today was, and he said it's church with a big smile. The kids sang to him in church and he got all embarrassed and ran back to me. When we got home from church he just walked around singing Happy Birthday to you. It was really cute. We went down to the city park for his party and had a really good time. It was fun just to relax and watch all the kids play. We had most of our family members there with us, so it made it a lot of fun. He got pretty spoiled with lots of Presents. He didn't care much for the presents after he opened up his bike. That was a big hit with him. He also got a new slide and a basketball hoop, with some much needed clothes. We had a great day Yesterday. We love Andrew so much. He keeps us on our toes. He has a lot of energy but is always willing to stop and give a hug.(usually)He is not bothered by much but, he knows just how to push the buttons of all the girls in his life. He loves his Dad. Sometimes it can be unbearable waiting for Brett to get home from work,because he wants him so much. We love this little boy. I am so glad he is a part of our little family. I have pictures of him at his party but Brett has the camera so that will have to come later.

We had a great Easter this year. It started on Thursday morning when we headed out to the West Desert. This is the same place Brett's family has been going for well I don't know exactly how long but a long time. We had really good weather the whole time we were there. It started to rain as we were driving away. We had a good time. We wished all of Brett's family could be there. Hopefully next year:) Sunday after church we went to Brett's parents for dinner. Brett's grandma Nelson was there and gave our kids what she called Grandpa's Easter Eggs.(a baseball and softball) After that we went out to dog valley with My Grandpa Jones to roast hot dogs, and then back to grandma Patty's for an egg hunt. Of course in the middle of that the Easter bunny visited. I think we have enough candy to last us two years. We had a great Easter weekend with our families. I am so grateful for all of them. We hope you had a great Easter.

OK so a couple of months ago I was looking on Natasha Dansie's blog and she had posted a Photo contest that a friend of hers was doing. All you had to do was leave a comment on her blog and it entered you in the contest. I left a comment not thinking that I would win. Well Guess What I won. Brandy Parry was the girl who took the pictures and I think she did a great job. She lives in St. George so we took a Weekend and went down. We were able to spend time with Family as well. We spent the weekend in St. George. It was so nice. The weather was awesome except for Sunday and it was a bit windy. We stayed with Brett's sister Shannon and her Family. (Thank you Shannon for letting us stay with you.) On Friday morning I went with Shannon, Kith, Kayla, and Lisa to the gym. We did a Zumba class. It was so much fun. Shannon and Kathryn do it all the time, but it was good for me to get up and get moving. Then on Friday evening Brett the Kids and I got some family pictures taken. A couple of months ago I won a photo shoot With a photographer. We took advantage of that while we pere down there. I hope to post the pictures soon. On Saturday Brett's grandma Nelson took us all out to The Pizza Factory for lunch. She was in St. George for the sun shine tournament to watch Brett's cousin Play. He is on the Spanish Fork team. They won first place. Way to go SF!! Anyway we had a great lunch with her and some more of our family. We are so grateful for Brett's grandma. We love the time we get to spend with her. Later that day we went for a hike in the Red Cliffs. It was awesome weather and so beautiful. My kids thought it was the best. And really so did I. Brett, Dan, Kayla, Hailey ,&Zeak got in the water. They said it was freezing. I did take pictures of Dan and Brett But I was told I was not to post them on this Blog:) We had an awesome weekend I wanted to stay a little longer. We don't get to see Shannon and Kith's families very often so it was nice to spend some time with them. I can't wait to go back.

Well it's finally here. She started asking about 5 months ago when it was going to be her birthday. I bet she asked at least once a week!!! So finally today she turned 6. The celebrating started on Thursday when she had a birthday party with her school friends and cousins. It was a cheerleader party. Two of the high school Cheerleaders were so nice to come and help out at the party. The kids came dressed up as cheerleaders or for their favorite sport. Teisha Shepherd and Chrystal Howarth taught them some cheers and did some stunts with them. They also played a game called pin the pom pom on the cheerleader. It was really fun. Later that night we had a party with My family. We had pizza cake and ice cream. That was also a fun time. Today is her actual birthday and she wanted breakfast in bed. She wanted a tray with a plate napkin with a fork, a drink and a vase of flowers. She puts a lot of thought into these things. She has had that part planed for weeks. Then later today we went to a beauty school and she had her nails painted. After that we had lunch and then picked up Brett's Grandma and went to cold stone for Ice cream. Last and not least she opened her presents. She got some clothes, moon sand, High School Musical 3, and Jonas Brothers tickets:) Lucky Girl. We are so grateful to have Madison in our lives. She is such a good girl. She is a great big sister. Andrew loves her so much. She is usually singing or dancing around the house, grocery store or just about any where. She wants to be a pop star, Nurse, Vet, Mom when she grows up. Her teacher says she is a great student, and is very proud that she has never pulled a card:) I think that she is a great kid. We added two more little boy's to our family Yesterday! Kaleb Woodland Gee, and Carter Alan Gee. They were born yesterday morning at 10:01 and 10:02 AM. Suzanne went on hospital bed rest 3 weeks ago yesterday. The boy's were 6 weeks early and are doing very well. They are both off of their breathing tubes and are not taking any medicine for their blood pressure. They are cute little guys and we can't wait until we can see them. We are so excited to have them in our Family. Kaleb weighed in at 4lbs 11oz. Carter weighed in at 3lbs 15oz. Congratulations Alan, Suzanne, & Ashlyn

I was was doing my daily blogging today and came across Katie Ivers blog. She had posted her testimony of the Atonement. As I was reading it I thought about how important the Atonement has been in My life. I am so grateful for our savior Jesus Christ and his Sacrifice for me. Because of his Sacrifice I am able to repent of my sins and strive every day to make my self more like him. Because of his sacrifice I get the blessing of gaining Eternal life, if I strive to live by his example. Because of his sacrifice I will get the chance to be with Brett and our kids for Eternity. Because of His sacrifice I will be able to be with my family and Brett's families forever . Because of him I will be able to be with my sister Erica again. Erica passed away on January 22, 2005. There hasn't been a day that has passed that I have not thought about her and her time here on Earth. I can't imagine the sadness I would feel if I knew I would never see her again. It was so hard to say good bye to her, and I miss her so much. I still after 4 years expect to see her sitting there when I walk into my mom and dad's house. She was always a great example to me. She taught me to always trust in the Lord. She trusted in him in all things. She had the best attitude. She never complained about her circumstance. She took it on with a smile. After she died we opened her journal and in the front cover she had a piece of paper that said "If you want to give Light to others you have to shine your self". She shared a special light to everyone she knew. She lived her life so that she could live with her Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ again. I am so grateful for her life and the example she was and still is to me. I am Grateful for my Testimony and the knowledge that we will live again and be together with our loved ones forever. I can't believe it is all over. I love this time of year, and I can't believe that Christmas has come and gone. Our Christmas was very busy but so fun! We started on Christmas eve at a party in Levan with the mangelson side of our family. Then we headed out to Mona to spend some time with Brett's parents, sister, brother, and their families. The kids decorated cookies for Santa. Except Madison said her cookie was for the Mrs. Bonus!!! Then we went home the kids fell asleep on the way so we didn't have to talk any one in to going to sleep. Brett and I thought that we were going to be able to go to sleep early, but it took Santa until 2:00 a.m. to finish putting together the country Kitchen. Christmas morning both of our kids were sound asleep and I couldn't wait any longer so I waited until my parents, brother, and grandpa got to our house at 6:30 and woke them up. We opened our presents and relaxed for a min before we headed off to Brett's parents for skinny man pancakes at 10:00. Then we were off to my parents for lunch and our family party at 1:00. Next we were off to Spanish fork by 5:00 for Brett's Grandma Nelson's party. It seemed like we were eating all day. Christmas day was full of parties and we all had great day. Friday we went up north to exchange a gift I had given Brett. Friday night Brett family got together for the Woodland party. We had a great time visiting, eating, and of course opening presents. Our Christmas finale was on Saturday. We got together with my Grandpa Jones for his party. We talked played games and of course ate more food. We had a awesome Christmas! We were able to see most of our family members and friends. The ones we didn't see we were able to talk to on the phone. We are so grateful for all that we have. We both have great families. We are so grateful for all of them. Thank you all so so much for all of the presents that you gave to us. We hope you all had a great Christmas an soon a happy a New Year.

Our Thanksgiving started out by making Pumpkin pie. Madison did most of it with a little bit of my help. On Thursday we went to levan to my grandma Mangelson's house. The food was awesome as usual. Then for the rest of the weekend we put Christmas lights on the house, went to visit Santa, and ended a great weekend at the light parade. We are so thankful for so many things. This is a great time of year.

We have allot of trees in our yard so that means we have allot of leaves. We had about 7 piles of leaves in the back yard so the kids thought it would be fun to play in them. It actually took Andrew a while to start having fun. He wasn't sure about it at first. Madison on the other hand loved it. She was out there for a couple of hours.

Deer Hunt Shopping Trip

Every year during the deer hunt we go shopping with Brett's Mom 's side of the family. Grandma Nelson gets a hotel room for all of us and we usually start the weekend with a fun craft. This year we made cards, ear rings, and some very cute hair bows or flowers for the little girls. We also went swimming and ate pizza that night. Then the next morning we were off to do some shopping. Poor Andrew was the only Boy . I have already made arrangement's for him to go with the boy's next year:) I had a really good time with everyone. They are all so good to me and my Kids. I made it through the weekend with only one really bad temper tantrum ,and only lost my credit card once:)

Old Green!!!

Sometimes all it takes is a green truck to make me realize what I have is enough. So it has now been three weeks since my car has been out of order. The car is in Levan and the transmission is in Provo. For a while I felt pretty sorry for myself. I wanted to cry out loud every time I loaded the kids in it. It would take me ten minutes longer to get Madi to school. If it wasn't warmed up enough I would have to stop and start again 2 or 3 times just going down main street. Thank goodness we live in Nephi! It is really loud, I felt Like I grabbed everyones attention when I came trucking it down the road. So basically I need to get over my self. Well I was wishing out loud that I could drive the car again, when Madi looked at me and said "Mom stop complaining we have so many memories in this truck." She loves that "green truck". She loves to hear the stories about how Brett first got my attention by asking me if I wanted to go check out his truck, and then taking me for a long ride, or how when I was pregnant with her he took me for a really bumpy ride in the "green truck" to try to get her to join us. (it didn't work) I then started looking at things a little different, and things didn't seem so bad. Then on Saturday when Elder Worthlin was giving his talk it seemed like he was talking right to me. I realize that I have to drive a truck that is more inconvenient to drive than my car, but at least I have something to drive. I am going to take his advice and just laugh. If this is all I have to worry about then I am pretty darn lucky.

Today I went with Madison's class to the Red Barn in Santaquin. It was really hot but allot of fun. We went for a wagon ride, and walked through the pumpkin patch. The Kids chose one pumpkin for the class room. Then we went back to the Barn and they gave us doughnuts. Madison was mostly excited because we got to ride in the school bus. She thought that was awesome. The other kids in the pictures are Jerico and Kassidy.

It was Brett's Birthday on Sunday and he is now the big 29. He is growing up so fast:) We had a Birthday Party on Saturday night with Brett's family. We also celebrated Suzanne and Alan's Birthdays as well. On Sunday we had dinner at home (we are usually at Brett's parents) and then we towed our broken car out to Levan. My Grandpa has a shop with the tools we needed to fix the car. Brett and Lamar started to work on it and found that they needed a tool that my Grandpa didn't have. So We went home and had Birthday Cake (pumpkin pie, Brett's favorite). We love Brett so much. He is a great Person and I don't know what I would do with out him. I hope that he had a good day.

He is finally home. It seems like this past week took forever to get over. He flew into Utah yesterday at 1:59. This was a pretty exciting day for all of us. After the plain landed it took him about a half hour to get to us. It seemed like 12 hours. Everytime my mom would would see someone in a white shirt or a suit coat she would get all excited and say out loud OH! It was really fun to watch my parents they were both so so excited. He looks really good. Everyone keeps telling him he looks skinny. He seems really shy. But like always he had a big smile on his face. The kids love him. I am sure he wants a little space. Madison doesn't want to leave his side. She did Mini Cheer last night at the football game and she couldn't wait until he got there to watch her. As far as Andrew he is not sure who Casey is and Casey is not sure who Andrew is. They will have plenty of time to get to know each other. We missed him allot while he was gone, but we know he was doing the Lord Work. We are so proud of him ,and so excited he is home!!!!!
I didn't get very good pictures. I Will have to get some better ones from my sisters.

First day of Kindergarten!!

I can't believe that Madison is in Kindergarten. It makes me feel old. Madison was so excited for today. She started asking 7 days ago(about every hour) how many more days until school starts. It is finally here! We went to back to school night last night and talked to her teacher. Her teacher is Mrs. Lepien. Madison thinks she is really cool. Brett's mom also came by last night and gave her a pillow case so she could get a good nights rest and a book called "The night before Kindergarten". That got her really excited. She went to bed early. (those of you that know her that never happens) then she woke up at 1:30 and asked if it was time to go. I told her no and to go back to bed. She started back to her bed and turned back around and asked if it was still OK if she wore her butterfly shirt. She had no problem getting up this morning at 6 am. Thank goodness school started at 8:00. She was not nervous at all. She told me she would be fine and she would see me after school. When I went to pick her up the first thing she said was KINDERGARTEN IS SO FUN!! She has lots of Friends in her class. I am sure this will be a great year for her.
